Vanyora Calvary Mount stands at the tenth mile, where the Idukki road rises into the high ranges and the hills unfold into sweeping valley views. It is a place that keeps things simple — comfortable, well-kept rooms, quiet surroundings, and a dining room that looks out across the valley.
At the heart of the experience is our kitchen, where our chef prepares authentic nadan food using traditional methods and recipes that have been cherished for generations. No shortcuts, just the familiar flavours of Kerala, cooked the way they were meant to be.

What we do
Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room, with the valley through the windows. Our chef cooks nadan food without shortcuts. Tell us when you are arriving and he will keep something back for you.
Air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms, hot water and television, kept clean and simple. Standard, deluxe and suite.
A large paved forecourt at the door, lit at night. Room for cars and for a tempo traveller, with no hunting for space on the hill road.
Message us before you set off and we will send a map pin and directions from wherever you are starting, plus what is worth stopping for on the way.

The pilgrimage hill and viewpoint the hotel takes its address from, and the reason people stop at the tenth mile at all.
